True Grit is True Great! Honest, dependable, friendly, respectful, professional. And the results? It's like having brand new pool tiles installed again without the heavy price tag. This family-owned business definitely brought some sparkle to my summer, and they left my back yard cleaner than it was when they got there!

The True Grit team did a great job getting rid of the nasty calcium around our pool and spa. We have blue glass tile, so even the smallest amount really stands out. It now looks clean as ever. They were in and out super quickly, and were flexible with our schedule.

I contacted True Grit Blasting Co and they were so accommodating about fitting me in during the busy season! Terrific job on removing the calcium build up off the pool tiles and in such a short amount of time. The owners are extremely professional, very responsive and knowledgeable. If you own a pool on the northwest side of town, you owe it to yourself to use this company! The water clears up within 10 hours and my pool is now sparkling once again!

I was truly very lucky to have found this company. I had to empty my pool and needed someone to clean my calcium line. I was lucky to get True Grit to come to my house the next day. The couple who run this company could not have been more pleasant or professional. They were able to do an estimate of the job via pictures of my pool without having to use another day to come over and see it, and the price was very reasonable compared to previous pool cleanings I’ve had. I was very impressed with how fast Tim was able to clean my pool with no damage whatsoever to my pool tile. The attention to detail was amazing in the way he worked and cleaned up my backyard.

Please keep this company in business because they are a total rarity in this day and age I will be using True Grit regularly to get my pool cleaned.

These are the before and after photos of the calcium deposits and removal. True Grit Blasting Co. responded to my request for a quote immediately, let me know they were on a job, asked for my address to measure the linear footage of my pool and said they would hit me a quote emailed later that day. BAM... later that day, I accepted their quote, they scheduled me, should up on time, completed the job on time and were super professional! Highly recommend Holly and Tim of True Grit Blasting Co. Heck they even do floors, concrete, wood, cars and more!

So I had my pool redone a couple years ago and for those of you who live here in the Old Pueblo know that our water is hard, super hard. Well anyway after spending all that money on my pool renovation and then have a calcium line ring build up a around that shiny new tile and waterfall from the hot tub just infuriated me.
I saw Tim (owner of True Grit Blasting) in the parking lot of Fry’s and made some small talk. I picked up a couple cards and within a month had him out to blast my pool. I/we couldn’t be happier! The pool/hot tub turned out better than I thought. His wife (Holly) was quick to get me a quote and scheduled. They were out quickly to get the work done before we hosted a graduation party.
So, if you have a pool recently done or not and just want to get rid of the unsightly calcium ring plaguing your pool and or hot tub I highly recommend Tim and True Grit Blasting. They are prompt, professional, courteous, and reasonably priced.

Our pools waterfall is one of the first things you see when looking out into our backyard. The calcium buildup drove me crazy and with two little kids I didn’t have the time to get in there and scrub it. Holly and Tim made our pool look so beautiful!!! They were an absolute pleasure to work with, worked with our schedule, set reasonable expectations, and were punctual and professional. I will absolutely use them again!

Almost 2 months ago, we had a battery fire that consumed our golf cart. Part of the aftermath included a damaged and discolored aggregate driveway - see the first picture. After power washing failed to remove the discoloration and melted plastic and other debris, I contacted True Grit Blasting Co. That was the best decision I could've made. Tim and wife Holly were easy to work with and as the second picture demonstrates, they provide great service. My neighbors have reached out to me with remarks like, "We can't even tell there was any fire at all!" If you need services like the many they offer, don't hesitate to contact them. They are very professional, thorough, polite, easy to work with and affordable.

This was the fastest, friendliest, most efficient company I have ever worked with. Within 2 hours, my heavily calcified pool tiles appeared to be brand new! They not only did an amazing job on the pool, but left my back yard much cleaner than it was when they arrived. The price was great and my family and I are ecstatic with the results! Holly and Tim were both great to work with. They both were willing to answer any and all questions I had and were very friendly. They showed up when they said they would, and were prompt to answer me back by either e-mail, text or phone call. Their rates are very reasonable (especially with sounds of their annual return program) and Tim did an exceptional job on our pool. Tim did recomend cleaning the filters a few days after he left, which we did, and you could see all the calcium that was removed (thank you Tim for that recommendation) My wife loves the outcome, she hates the calcium buildup we get here in Arizona. I definitely would recomend their services for whatever project you may need them for!! We will be asking them to come back annually to be sure to keep that build up under control. Thanks again Tim and Holly, we appreciate what you have done for us. (The pictures here are just before they came out, and a little after 3 weeks of Tim coming out) build up is still gone, but again, its Arizona and we expect it will be back.

True Grit Blasting did a great job cleaning our pool tiles. We have a tricky property layout, but Tim Moore worked closely with us to figure out how to access the pool from a long distance from the driveway. Tim was very thorough, took the time to answer all of my questions, and left the entire backyard spotless. Most importantly, our pool tile looks the best it has in years! I can highly recommend Tim and True Grit Blasting!

I had a really bad calcium line that I tried to Clean myself did not work very well. so i started to call around to get quotes for a company to come out and clean the tile around the pool true grit blasting Co. was the first company I called family owned business husband and wife run it. Holly and TIM . So Holly answered the phone was able to look up my address through maps and gave me a quote right away she was very Kind and professional easy to talk to they were by far the most reasonably priced in Tucson. TIM did really good work has attention to detail. Pride and his work it showed. Tile looks as good as new now . would definitely recommend.

True Grit did an amazing job on our pool. The previous owners of our house did not maintain the chemical levels in the pool and the tile was covered in white scale. When we bought the home we knew we’d need to get the pool cleaned up. True Grit did an AMAZING job and now you can see all the beautiful detail on the tiles long hidden by the scale.

Before we found them we worked endlessly trying to get the salt/chlorine lines off of our tile, literally spending every second that we were in the pool scrubbing and scraping. They made our lives so much easier, our tile looks like new again. We will continue using them for the rest of the time we own a pool. I can’t recommend them enough!!

They were super responsive, easy to schedule, on time, and it’s the best we’ve seen our pool. They currently offer a significant discount for subsequent services if you do it within a year. When I chose a business, first impressions and communication are high on my priority list. I called True Grit Blasting to get a quote and left a message. Holly called me back right away and was friendly, answered all my questions and was able to book me an appointment right away. On the day of my appointment, Tim called me to tell me he was on his way. He did such a great job getting all the calcium build up off my tiles that have been building up for 4 years.
